Bev has been practicing as a body worker since 1997. She began her Ortho- Bionomy training in 1998 after studying CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute as well as pursuing training in Jean-Pierre Barrall’s Visceral Manipulation. She has had excellent results working with the following health problems:  Balance Problems, Central Nervous System Disorders, Chronic Neck, Back and Body Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Depression, Detoxification, Emotional Difficulties, Fibromyalgia, Infantile Disorders,  Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Learning disabilities, Loss of Vitality, Migraine Headaches, Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), Scoliosis, Sinusitis, Sprains/strains, Stress and Tension Related Problems.

The methods Bev uses in her sessions for assessing energy disruptions vary from feeling restrictions in the deep fascia (the netting that holds us together) to feeling the CranioSacral Rhythm and sensing irregularities within. Bev uses the appropriate techniques to bring balance to the body and the psyche by sensing vibrations, pulls or stillness in the body.

Due to factors such as stress, accident, injury, improper posture and emotional trauma the nervous system becomes short-circuited. This can add more stress to the body as it tries to re-adapt. Using Ortho-Bionomy techniques, the body's innate ability to find the ‘'right place' is listened to. With a very gentle touch, the practitioner encourages changes to take place by simply following the movements or taking the body further into the 'preferred' posture. By using these techniques the nerves that respond to muscle function in the nervous system will self-balance, bringing a sense of physical and emotional well-being to the receiver.
