Class Details:

Phase 4

This is often called Foundation Class of Ortho-Bionomy, we work with the principles to gently move all the major joints in the body to a comfortable position in the course of the 2 day class.
Lots of techniques, but few principles. Lots of information which is why it is taken so many times to become a Practitioner. I have found even after 34 years, I always learn something in a phase 4 class
whether I am teaching or someone else.It can seem easy or can seem complicated but it does bear repeating several times. Sometime later in your practice when you might be working with a shoulder and no matter what you do
cannot seem to find “the spot”, if you go back to the 8 shoulder points from the beginning, you will find the area that may have been illusive. Phase 4 is physical movement going with comfort. It is gentle and profound.
It can be called the nuts and bolts, but try it yourself and see how this can work into your practice and inform all the rest of the ways you learn to translate the principles into movement.
