This foundation class covers the history, philosophy and concepts of Ortho-Bionomy, and provides a basic

understanding of the release techniques for each major joint in the body with a focus on the extremities.

The techniques are comfortable for the client and easy on the practitioner. They stimulate the inherent

self-corrective reflexes of the body by affecting the proprioceptive nerves, resulting in the release of

muscular tension, a reduction in overall stress, normalization of structural alignment, and a new sense of internal balance for the client.

Peggy first discovered Ortho-Bionomy through an article she read in a massage magazine and was inspired to attended one of Marie Long's very first classes in Vernon, BC. This journey led to her evolvement to Advanced Practitioner and her own practice for the last 12 years, and now to the completion of her training as an Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy. Through her love to learn and so to help understand anatomy, body systems and nervous system she has undertaken extra training in Craniosacral, Visceral, and Self Regulation Therapy. A Pilates Instructor for 18 years, she brings with her a unique and dynamic expression of her passions that she is heartfelt to share with the wider Ortho-Bionomy community, and the wider community as a whole.  She practices in Lake Country (S and  Kelowna BC, and has helped co-develop a comprehensive Ortho-Bionomy training program.
