Self-Care

Come learn how to bring your body into greater balance and ease by gently exaggerating the patterns of the body and moving into comfort. 

By applying the principles of Ortho-Bionomy, individuals learn how to look after themselves when injured, for health prevention, and for maintainance of chronic conditions.   

 You can regain mobility,  ease tight or painful areas and relax deeply from within. 

Self-care can incorporate muscular-skeletal work (Phase 4), isometrics, exploration of movement, Chapman’s points and subtle work (Phase5 and 6).  

Participants also learn how to develop Ortho-Bionomy based self-care approaches /plans for their particular concerns.

Baeleay Callister is an Advanced Instructor who has been actively in practice since 1984 and teaching since 1991. She has studied and worked extensively with the Founder, Dr. Arthur Lincoln Pauls and many other wonderful Instructors that started with Arthur in 1978 or soon thereafter. Ms. Callister is one of the founders of the Ortho-Bionomy® Association of Canada and remains an Advisor for the Board and on the Curriculum committee. She is an Instructor Trainer and co-developer of the Instructor Development Program.

Baeleay teaches all over Canada, the US, and Mexico . Baeleay's teaching is also a lifetime practice of the principles; she is a staunch advocate of maintaining the integrity of the work and encouraging individual evolvement. She shares with her students a platform and environment for personal growth and awareness with the practice of being with 'what is'. The profound simplicity makes Ortho-Bionomy endure as a unique practice that is practical, respectful, educational, painless and easily supports the notion of 'mind, body and spirit'.

Baeleay lives and works on the Sunshine Coast of Beautiful British Columbia where she maintains a practice.
