OBAC Student

  • Must have completed one Ortho-Bionomy class
  • Receive a discount for most subsequent Ortho-Bionomy courses
  • May attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at a reduced rate
  • No AGM voting privileges
  • Denoted with a ‘***’ by their name when they have joined the Practitioner Program
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Students cannot use the Registered trademark Ortho-Bionomy or the Sand Dollar Logo

 

OBAC Associate

  • Has completed the required 112 units of Ortho-Bionomy training
  • May attend the Annual General Meetng (AGM)
  • Voting privileges at AGM
  • Eligible to run as a Board Member after one year
  • Permitted to use the term ‘Associate Member of Ortho-Bionomy’ in their advertising.
  • Denoted with a ‘***’ by their name when they have joined the Practitioner Program
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Associates cannot use the trademarked OBAC Sand Dollar Logo

OBAC Practitioner

  • Professional designation
  • May attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Full voting privileges at AGM
  • Eligible to run for election as Board Members
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Full use of the registered trademarked term “Ortho-Bionomy” and the Sand Dollar Logo for their course materials and advertising
  • Must have successfully completed the OBAC Practitioner Training (521 units)
  • $135.00

OBAC Advanced Practitioner

  • Professional designation
  • May attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Full voting privileges at AGM
  • Eligible to run for election as Board Members
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Full use of the registered trademarked term “Ortho-Bionomy” and the Sand Dollar Logo for their course materials and advertising
  • Must have successfully completed  OBAC Advanced Practitioner Training (additional 518 units)

OBAC Instructor

  • Professional designation
  • May attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Full voting privileges at AGM
  • Eligible to run for election as Board Members
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Full use of the registered trademarked term “Ortho-Bionomy” and the Sand Dollar Logo for their course materials and advertising
  • Must have successfully completed OBAC Instructor Training

 

 

OBAC Advanced
Instructor

 

  • Professional designation
  • May attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Full voting privileges at AGM
  • Eligible to run for election as Board Members
  • Complementary listing on the website’s Member Directory
  • A subscription to the Sand Dollar Newsletter
  • Full use of the registered trademarked term “Ortho-Bionomy” and the Sand Dollar Logo for their course materials and advertising
  • Must have successfully completed OBAC Advanced Instructor Training

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Inactive Members may retain their affiliation & membership with the Association by paying a yearly fee equal to half of their current membership dues; CEUs are not required.
  • Ortho-Bionomy Associations outside of Canada may be members of OBAC at no cost if there is a mutual exchange of information, or if they have a separate agreement with the Ortho-Bionomy Association of Canada.

Interested in becoming an Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner?

Members are free to apply for a change in membership by submitting the appropriate membership application. Refer to the ‘Members Forms & Info” section under ‘Membership’ once you have logged in to your account. (Please note, this option will not be visible if you have not logged in first)

Student membership Requirements are:

  • One 16 unit class
  • Signing a code of ethics
  • Trademark agreement

Members can also apply for registered practitioner training, the first step to becoming a Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner. Registered Practitioner applicants must also meet all of the requirements set out by the Ortho-Bionomy Association of Canada (OBAC), before being recognized and accepted as a registered practitioner.

Terms and Conditions

OBAC Payment and Refund Policy: There is a ‘no refund’ policy once financial transactions are accepted and completed. A processing fee of $30.00, plus applicable bank charges, will be assessed against all refused payments.

Late payments for your annual dues (after October 31) will result in a $15.00 administration fee. After 61 days without payment (after December 31) your membership will be considered lapsed and your current membership number will expire. You will need to reapply for membership and pay the applicable fees before being issued a new membership number.
